If you aren't a resident of Edmond, Oklahoma, (or you are) you may not know all of the wonderful things Edmond is doing for their citizens. Edmond's City Website has a project list which is and has been completed. Pretty impressive when you see how much is going on around town. And this isn't including the improvement the Schools are doing either!
Here are just a few things Edmond is doing to increase our quality of life:
Edmond Upgraded to Outdoor Warning Devices.
The Outdoor Warning Devices have been extensively upgrade made possible by the 2000 Tax Fund for a cost of $2,000,000. This greatly improves warnings out in the community when dangerous conditions come up.
New Downtown Streetscapes Pedestrian Linkages.
This includes extensive curbs, spaces, medians, stamped concrete sidewalks, and landscaping materials.Approximately $4,570,000 has been spent to-date.
