So...what's up with SODO? Sodo, aka "South of Downtown Orlando" is our Central Florida take on SOHO, a trendy urban development in Manhattan. Construction is well underway on this 22-acre mixed-use development featuring 370,000 square feet of restaurant/retail, 300 luxury retail units, and approximately 75,000 square feet of office space.
Current tenants include Super Target, TJ Maxx, a 50,000 square foot 24-hour Health Club, and an array of national brands, local boutique, contemporary restaurants and outdoor cafes. Additionally, one can expect an ample supply of service-oriented retailers including banks and other service providers.
This urban infill project promises to dress up the southern edge of downtown Orlando, making a strong connection to a thriving medical community and make life more convenient to thousands of local residents.
