A friend and I were talking about the good ole’ days then we started to amass a list of items we’ve experienced but our kids and in some cases grandkids would know little about.

To name a few:

The CD was introduced two years before they were born.

They have always had an answering machine.

They have always had cable.

Jay Leno has always been on the Tonight Show.

Popcorn has always been microwave
d.

They never took a swim and thought about Jaws.

They don't know what a cassette tape is.

They never heard: 'Where's the Beef?', 'I'd walk a mile for a Camel ' or 'de plane Boss, de plane'.

Please continue the list, I’d like to see what other gems Generation ‘Y’ didn’t get a chance to enjoy.

Great information and read. I will say there are some of the baby boomers still going back to college!  I like your fact sheet.  Have a great rest of the week!

they missed the original episodes of All in the Family, The Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island, The Cosby Show

They learned to use a mouse before they learned to read.

Cell phones could always fit in your pocket.

They have no idea who Krista McAuliffe and the Challenger crew are.

Hi Ron - Nice post, but it makes me feel like an old geezer - I used to listen to the Lone Ranger - on the radio - when I was a kid. I also remember my grandmother reminiscing about how she had the 3rd car in Cleveland, Ohio.
