The difference between an active and inactive real estate agent

By
Real Estate Agent with Better Homes and Acres

The difference between an active real estate agent and an inactive one.

Both must be licensed which has yearly educationally requirements.

An inactive real estate agent is no longer practicing real estate and no longer a member of the local board of realtors.

They do not take listings or show properties to buyers. However, they can refer buyers and sellers to active agents and receive commissions from the broker holding their license.

An active real estate agent typically is a member of the local board of realtors, paying annual and monthly dues and memberships.

They usually do "floor time" for the company they work for.

They advertise themselves, their company and their listings.

They pay for websites and other marketing.

They assist sellers in the sale of their home or property.

They seek qualified buyers for their listings and all the listings in their MLS.

I am an active real estate agent

in Gladwin County MI

I am a member of the Clare Gladwin Board of Realtors.

I am actively pursuing sellers I can assist in the sale of their home or property.

I am actively pursuing qualified buyers who wish to purchase a home or vacant land.

Eight years ago in March of 2004 I joined Century21 Smith-Miller, Inc.

In April of 2004 I obtained my first listing.

In July of 2004 I had my first sale.

Oh the memories.

I am an active realtor for RE/MAX Riverhaven  here in Gladwin County.

I am working in all of Gladwin County, Northern Midland County and Eastern Clare County.

March 2012 I just got my first and second listing.

I will need to work really hard this year, since it's like starting over.....

I am excited about what this year will bring, it's still early and it's off to a great start. Little rockly, little limbo for a bit .

I know what to do and I know how to do it!

I believe in Karma

What goes around comes around.

Ever hear of THE SECRET ? It's a "best-selling 2006 self-help book written by Rhonda Byrne, based on the earlier film of the same name. It is based on the law of attraction and claims that positive thinking can create life-changing results such as increased wealth, health, and happiness." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Secret_(book)

I believe.

I believe in myself.

Whatever you are doing or not doing to earn a living, believe in yourself!
