If only we could be a fly on the wall to over hear how a couple approaches the thought pattern on what home to choose when purchasing.

I've always been amazed on the decision process of a couple when looking at homes to buy. Just when I think I knew the thought pattern, pow, a complete turn around in the home they chose to offer on.

I have dealt with couples who were dead set on a two story from the beginning only to purchase a ranch in the end. How do these changes in thought occur over night?

By being a fly (and no, not by the seat of their pants) I'm sure I could answer all the worldly questions concerning this matter. 

I could even sneak into the seller's home and find out the thought process in any offers they may be contemplating. Hhhmmm, a new business idea. Fly by Night, Real-estate Professional by day.

Checking with my life insurance carrier and liabilty holder, they highly recommend against this idea.

The life expectancy of the common fly is to short, back to the drawing board.

Still I wonder?

It is a great idea. I've often wondered why the 180 or full 360 degree change? What about the ones that are dead set against condo living, we only want homes...then purchase a condo in a mid or high rise? I would have loved to have been there for that conversation between them.

Duane, does it not seem that at the oddest time some of the oddest decisions are made. Well, at least odd in our own eyes. I guess this is the impotance of seeing it through the eyes of a client.
