The graph shows Franklin County, Ohio home prices for the past 15 months.  The graph is just for single family homes.  The green lines is average list price and the red line is the average sale price.

Franklin County, Ohio home prices a market report for February 2012

  • Average list price (active) - $180,000
  • Average sale price - $149,000


Franklin County, Ohio home sales were up 5.2% in February 2012 (compared to February 2011) and up 8.9% from January 2012.  The number of single family homes for sale were down 24.1% from a year ago.  The $149,000 average sale price for a Franklin County, Ohio home is up 13.7% from a year ago. 

Franklin County, Ohio home prices by school district for February 2012:

Columbus home prices - average sale price - $92,000*

Dublin home prices - average sale price - $299,000

Gahanna Jefferson - average sale price - $335,000**

Grandview Heights - average sale price - $232,000

Hilliard home prices - average sale price - $198,000

Plain Local (New Albany) - average sale price - $459,000

Upper Arlington - average sale price -  $392,000

Westerville home prices - average sale price - $172,000

Worthington home prices - average sale price - $198,000

Selected school districts in northern Franklin County.  The information for the Columbus school district (and all others) is for the entire school district.  Columbus is a huge district and very diverse in housing and house prices. 

** freakiness in Gahanna.  Last months average sale price Gahanna Jefferson home prices- see the graph showing the average sale price in Gahanna shooting up to $335,000 in February 2012.

It is great to see the inventory going down and the pricing going up!  There is a small recovery going on in our area, too.
