Gordon & Cherise,  It appears the Colorado Springs Real Estate market is trending in the right direction.  The lack of inventory will serve to drive the prices up.

Gordon,

These are interesting statistics.  The inventory is down and the prices are down...Does that indicate that there are still dollars on the sideline waiting for something or other?  i have heard all kinds of theories about that.  Meanwhile the San Francisco market is heating up and going into crazy overbids, and the Phoenix market is considered hot again!  A

This sounds like statistics for many areas.  Inventory is down, price is down, median price is down but sales are up.   This is definitely a sellers' market.

Alexandra,

First of all, I am glad that the Phoenix market is catching on fire again. We anticipate that the actual prices will increase as the year progresses.  We are already catching glimpses of this happening... g

I could steal your post and just plug in the word "Albuquerque" everywhere it says Colorado Springs because our market conditions are very similar. Units sold are up and inventory is down, sounds like the market turning around.
