A musical featuring WJHS students that intertwines the plts of several Grimms Fairy Tales and follows them further to explore the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. Comedy at the Mette

A critically acclaimed monthly stand-up comedy series headlined this week by Adam Burke, joined by Chicagoan Matty Burke. Adam Burke, who grew up in Northern Ireland, was named one of the best comedians in Chicago by comedy.com and is regularly featured at comedy hotspots around the country. Tickets: $12.

Third Sunday String Band

A group of eight Chicago area musicians will play and sing Appalachian and Irish fiddle tunes, plus folk and pop. The ensemble includes Wilmettans Stu Hertzberg on guitar and Mike Collins on bass.
