Wallace, Idaho is listed in this book, and it is a wonderful place to live and to visit.

Check out property in Wallace and the Silver Valley of Idaho at

We certainly didn't know that Wallace was on this list. Is it close to Sun Valley? Must be really nice.

Wallace ID is a great place to visit and to live (now that Burke has septic systems   :-)

Didn't you have a volcano blow the town and several other nearby landmarks away not too long ago......

..... or was that some movie I saw somewhere?

Susan, I haven't gotten as far north in Idaho as Wallace.  I have been to McCall, it is absolutely beautiful as are many other places in Idaho, Island Park, for example comes to mind.  It is a beautiful state with many beautiful areas.

Thank you for the comments.  First time I have received any comments since I am new to the Active Rain Network.

Gary - Wallace is located up in the Northern Panhandle of Idaho.  It is 40 miles East of Coeur d'Alene.

Court - You are right about Burke.  About the volcano.....that's also a part of history :-)

Tony & Darcy - McCall is beautiful, and you would really enjoy North Idaho.  Utah is beautiful too.
