There were 64 homes sold in Fishers in February compared with 67 a year ago…so in line with the market of last year.  Remember the first time buying credit in 2010; we sold 91 in February of 2010!  I have seen many listings starting to get multiple offers and selling quicker so while February looked to be steady; I believe we will see some great numbers in March for the Fishers Real Estate market.Homes Sold in Fishers

The statistics are still showing a bit of a decline in market values.  This year we are seeing the average price of a home sold in Fishers at $210,800 compared with $235,600 a year ago.  I think a good explanation for this is that we have some pent up demand with the first time buyers and those are the ones entering the markets.  And they typically would buy at a lower price point.  In face there were five homes that sold for less than $100,000 this month and only one over $500,000 which was in Bridgewater.

The days on market are fairly steady at about 96 which is a healthy time frame.

The neighborhoods selling the most homes in Fishers in February were Anderson Hall, Britton Falls, one of my favorites Spyglass Falls and Woodberry.  I actually represented the buyers on one in Woodberry.  It was a distressed property and they should make a great profit when they put it on the market later this month.

Cindy - There seems to be a trend throughout many markets - sales are UP but prices are DOWN.  Seems we are working harder to make less money these days!   No complaints though - we are happy to be working and making money at all as it seems there are plenty of agents out there who aren't.

All in all, Cindy, the stats in Fishers look like a healthy return is happening.  Great explanations of the figures - that's so helpful in understanding the local market influences.

Hi Cindy, I have noticed that same trend in my market area too, especially the lower prices, but more volume in homes Sold. Love that you are getting multiple offers on your listings. That is always good to hear for listing agents and the sellers. Keep up the Good Work!
