Spring is here, and wildflowers are springing up all along the Central Coast. The 2nd annual Wildflower Festival in Santa Margarita will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Saturday & Sunday, March 24 & 25 2012, at the Santa Margarita Elementary School, 2207 H Street, Santa Margarita CA.
There is no cost to enjoy the festival, which includes a "California Wildflower Photo Contest" that is open to all where winners are voted on by the public. A spectrum of wildflowers will be displayed. Wildflower ID books are also available for sale. Subject to supplies and availability, all attendees will be given a wildflower map and wildflower seeds.
In addition to Hidden Treasure presentattion on the unique features of Central Coast, arts, crafts, & food Vendors as well as music entertainment will be provided.
The festival will continue in rain - as it is GOOD for the wildflowers! So gear up and come and smell them!
