Let's preface this correctly...we live in the Mountains!  You have to change things up for the kids around here to makethem feel normal.  WE may not hunt for eggs in the snow, but we put on agood show underwater.  Check out how Incline Village Residents hunt for Easter Eggs...http://tahoehomesblog.wordpress.com/2012/03/18/underwater-easter-egg-hunt-2/

Incline Village is an amazing place!  What a great idea it is to have an under water Easter egg hunt!

The real challenge would be if it was in the lake. Maybe a good idea for an adult easter egg hunt.

It would be GREAT to incorporate an adult section of this hunt.  In the past when Easter was near the SNOWFEST party in town there was a local restaurant that did an adult hunt in the water with little bottles of booze near the shoreline (you still had to go in calf to knee deep or deeper to get it) and then there were a few BIG bottles of booze for those die-hards that were willing to go all the way in to get them.  That was a hysetrical event.

I bet that would be something funny to watch. I think the term die-hards is a perfect description for anyone that would do that. Even with the lack of a winter this year it would be to cold for me. I performed an Energy Audit last week up there in Incline Village and it's amazing how little snow there was on the ground. I didn't even need a jacket.
