We Love Our New Baby Sister!

Patti and I were in church Wednesday night when I got the call. “It is time”

We rushed home to get our things, and hurried over to our daughter and son in law’s place. Brother Jimmy was already there, in case we didn’t get there in time. The kids were already in bed, and our daughter was off to the hospital.

Inside the house there were detailed instructions on the kitchen counter, including schedules for our two grandchildren, time lines for every aspect of their busy schedules, and permission slips for the doctor in case of an emergency.

The next morning we got the little ones up, dressed, fed and off to school their schools.

We got the text that the little baby was born - perfect in every way!

We picked the little ones up from school and preschool, and were off to the hospital for the first visit.

Big brother and big sister were precious! They adore their little sister, and showered the new born baby with hugs, and kisses, and tender strokes.

We love our new baby sister!!!
