Frisco Roughriders are looking for some batboys for the 2012 season!
Do you have a son or daughter that LOVES baseball, then they will LOVE being a batboy for the Frisco Roughriders. I know the term 'batboy' may not sit well with some, but that is the name. The only thing your son/daughter needs to know in order to become a batboy is the following (according to the Frisco Roughriders Website:
- Be at least 15 years old
- Be able to work nights and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Pays attention to details with minimal supervision
- Understands the game of baseball
If you live in Frisco Texas (or surrounding city) and you have never been to a Frisco Roughriders game, you are missing out. Its a small venue compared to going to see the Texas Rangers, but just as exciting and sometimes even more so. Every seat is fantastic at the Dr Pepper Ballpark, even in the grass towards the outfield.
My family and I attend many games each season. The games are great! The food is good and its always a wonderful time! You can also consider renting a suite for a game (or for the season) at a very low price.
