No Glue ~ Just Physics

The Vernal Equinox was March 20th 1:14 EDT. Spring arrived and so did egg balancing festivities in my kitchen yesterday morning. Have you tried it? I did the night before with no success. Bad timing I guess. My husband found that when he was making breakfast the forces of physics being what they were still allowed him to balance the egg on its axis. Timing is everything.

Janis- I'd forgotten all about this!  I'll have to try this next year to see what happens. Cute title too.

You can do it every day. Try again today, or tomorrow, or whenever - you'll see that the equinox is irrelevant!

Kathy~ We had a good time with it... and although Wayne and Jean say it can be done any day, we tried again last night with NO luck.. so i'm not sure.. but ???? Still the most important take away is that SPRING is here... and that makes me happy.  Thanks to all of you for visiting1

Janis --  Dang it we forgot to stand an egg on it's end.  We had talked about doing it, making a YouTube of it and sending it to the grand-kids.  At their ages most of them still think their Mac Man and Nana are cool.  Next year for sure!  Hope you have a great day in all you do my friend.

Barbara~ It does make for good fun in a science class.. brownie points for the teacher1

DeeDee ~ my husband just googled this. it appears that with the proper egg and skill it can happen most any day that you have the patience. Who knew.. I always learned in school that it was just for this time of the year. GOOGLE.. you gotta love it!
