If you're trying to sell your Yuma, Arizona home there are many things that you can do as a seller to aid in the sale of your house. Staging, painting, and cleaning up are a great place to start!
A fresh coat of paint can do wonders for the appearance of your home. It will provide a blank canvas for potential buyers to envision 'what can be' in your home. Sticking to neutral colors is the best way to go when picking out new paint colors.

If you have one room painted bright red and another bright green and the kitchen a blue color, that might be okay for you, but could turn off a buyer at first glance.

Although paint is an easy fix, most buyers have a hard time seeing past the bright or bold paint colors. Switching to a neutral paint color will help buyers see the possibilities in the home and you never know, it might check off one more thing on their list that they don't have to do.

Go to your local paint supply store and find good neutral brown, grey, or tan color that goes well with your crown molding, baseboard, or trim. Painting your trim a bright white to balance the neutral is a great idea too! You'll be amazed at the positive feedback you'll get from showings!

By taking the extra time and effort to freshen up the paint in your home, you'll put yourself leaps and bounds ahead of every other listing on the block that doesn't have new paint!

Excellent topic!  I had a cute little place I couldn't sell in the Foothills.  I told the seller from the beginning, this needs paint.  2 months on market and he gave in.  2 days later, I sold it!
