OPAS releases part of Summer Concert Series-Lake Oconee, Georgia.
The spring and summer here is always a fun and exciting time. There's a vibe you get from the energy. During the day the lake is hopping with boats full of families and friends all out enjoying themselves. At night the restaurants fill up and it's so much fun to see the pink glow on the faces of the kids from having spent a day in the sun. To me, summer nights filled with music make time here on Lake Oconee just that much more special.
OPAS (Oconee Performing Arts Society) has released some of the acts that will help make up this years Summer Concert Series here in the Lake Oconee area one of the best to date. There's a calendar of events on their website that you can check out to see when and where your favorite acts will be performing.
14 Time Grammy Award Winner Ricky Scaggs kicks off the season on April 28th at 7 p.m. on Main Street in downtown Greensboro. Caberet Seating for this event is $75 and General Admission "Lawn" Seating is $25.
