Real Estate on the rise in the Tampa Bay area? Some buyers don't think so....

Everyone has been waiting for rock bottom. The perception of the housing market in the Tampa Bay are has been gloom and doom for more than a few years now. I have noticed that in the last few weeks though a lot of offers are being accepted over listing price. The ability to get a "better" price than what is listed is starting to change.  In the last two weeks I have had to explain to perspective buyers that the notion of underbidding on properties because "this it is a buyers" may be a thing of the past.  The education process is similar to that of learning to ride a bike for the first time.  Some time you have to fall a few times before you get the hang of it.  And unfortunatley buyers who lose a property they really wanted because they think they can get it for a steal for 10% less than listed price are learning the hard way.  I have always given my professional opinion but not getting your "dream" home because someone paid 10% more than you where willing to has as much of an influence than a skinned knee falling off your bike the first time.
