The Buffalo Sabres and The Pittsburgh Penguins will make National Hockey League history on New Year's Day, 2008 when they play in the AMP NHL Winter Classic Ice Bowl. This will be the League's first regular-season outdoor game in the United States! Preparations are underway for this historic game in Orchard Park at the Buffalo Bills home of Ralph Wilson Stadium. The field preparations will begin on December 23rd right after the Bills game.
