With this post, I will cross that goal line. I have been on Active Rain for just over a year, and I am the first to admit, I was a little slow at getting started for all of the imaginary reasons I created. My first success was starting small, and trying to make some friends.
I found agents that I have worked with in the past or that I have had a relationship in place. From there the number of friends has grown. If I need answers to questions, or suggestions on blogging, Active Rain is the first place I look.
When I posted my goal at the first of the month, I thought it was a realistic goal. I have had a few little bumps along the way and changing companies in the last week almost derailed my goal, but I stuck with it.
The biggest cheerleader this month has been Suzanne McLaughlin. 
Not only has she sent me several emails with encouraging suggestions, she has commented on almost every blog I have written. She went back and even picked up some of the old ones too. So a big thank you to Suzanne for being in my corner.
Now it is on to 300,000 points by September 1, 2012.
