Aerial Photos of Your Listings

By

I took some aerial photos of a condo building in Flagler Beach for a friend to market a property. I was wondering if anyone else has used aerial photos to market their listing and if so, how did it work for you?

As a lender I usually ask for aerial photos of commercial properties - especially apartment complexes.

I have an agent in my office who captures them from Google - I han't done it yet, but I think it is a hot idea.

I listed a campground, and I did use  aerial photo for this. It seemed to work okay for it.

As a pilot I do use this option when needed. It is fun, and I am working at the same time.

I've used Google Earth to show a property's proximity to the ocean or a golf course.  Saveit as a jpeg and put it on MLS, too.  A picture is worth a thousand words!

I used to sell a lot of vacant land. Always used aerial photos, I actually got them from the county. They had the whole county on file and for sale as aerials.

Google earth works best for me. I can use it in all my marketing as a jpeg file as well. Clients like using google earth as well.

Google Earth is also one that I like and use as the customer can then play around with zooming out to get a look at the surrounding area also. Another good one is at   local.live.com  This site seems to be able to get closer to the subject by using the "birds eye" view.

It works good for the agent that is working with a buyer.  We give a complete packet including zoning, wetlands, soils and if we have the aerial.  It makes it so much easy to explain the properties before walking it with the client.
