West Knoxville TN Home Sales Report

Real Estate Agent with eXp Realty, LLC TN RE Lic# 323112

I know many Knoxvillian's have heard monthly home sales numbers, but how do those large numbers relate to West Knoxville buyers and sellers? To help, I've put together a Knox County and West Knoxville TN February homes sales report.

Because Knox Area Association of REALTORS® (KAAR) encompasses a number of counties, I thought we should start with what we are seeing in Knox County home sales, break down these numbers a bit. Knox County is doing pretty good in the home sales department. Of the 693 total home sales in February 2012, 245 of those took place in Knox County!  Home sales are rockin'!

2012 Knox County Home Sales

Between January and February, sales did increase, and that is always a good thing. Those numbers are just the figures for residential homes. So, what does this mean for West Knoxville home sellers? Let's take a look:

West Knoxville Home Sales

Overall, West Knoxville accounted for 103 of those 245 home sales during February 2012. (It is normal to see some fluctuations in specific areas, and nothing to worry about!) Stories of multiple offers on homes, that you have heard about, are very real, and a great place to be if you are the seller. This also means that folks are pricing their homes right.

It truly looks as if 2012 is not only getting off to a great start, but that the real estate market is rebounding here.
