It isn’t often that you see an event being planned in the community and it makes you think of a Dr Seuss book. However the annual "Fish Out" sponosed by the Lake Ridge Parks and Recreation Association (LRPRA) is perfect for "One Fish-Two Fish."
Starting on March 30, 2012 the Ridgewood swimming pool.will be filled with 750 rainbow trout and for $7.00 per person you can drop a line and catch your limit (of two). Each fish above the limit will cost you $4.00 per fish. Per the LPRA website "fishermen can bring their own tackle or rent cane poles at the pool for $1.00 each. Fish will bite on corn, cheese, mini marshmallows, worms, and lures (single barb hooks only, please!)."
This year the Fish Out runs from March 30 through April 7, 2012. This event if fun for all ages and a perfect chance to catch your dinner. The Lake Ridge fish out is just another reason why Lake Ridge residents love to call the neighborhood home. For more information on the Lake Ridge Fish Out call the LRPRA office at 703-491-2154.
