Buying a home is a great time. I have learned many things as an agent and it's one thing to be totally on top of things and be in a position to be right on top, and it is another thing to be a pest to some. I think as much as people like lots of communication and follow up it is just as important to make sure you give people their space. When someone is looking for homes we roll up our sleeves and get a game plan to make it happen. Notice I used the word "we". I have for a long time made a commitment to my clients that when anything changes they let me know right away and from there I will stay on top of things like no tomorrow. Part of that is giving people the space they need to look at homes on my MLS search tool. It can be found next to my business card just a little lower on this blog post.
Further, when we find that perfect home the work really starts. My buyers are all pre-approved and ready to go. They have been to a lender and with our pre-approval in our hands we set off to get to a successful closing. All the team work pays off when I get to shake their hands at closing and thank them for putting their faith in me. Of course they will get all the hot pads, business cards and promo stuff to last them an eternity but most just laugh it off and say to themselves "That Tom Braatz was there every step of the way and he still is. I like that my clients become comfortable and know I put them first.I love finding those perfect homes.
