Valuable life lessons I have learned

Real Estate Agent with Re/Max Spirit

Its really a wonder life because of the lessons I have learned from Childhood.

Quitting is Bad:  Don't be a quitter.  Quitters never win.  So now they tell us to quit drinking, quit smoking etc.  I choose not to be a quitter.  Quitters never win. So I refuse to enter that Rehab Center.

Try it you may like it:  Some of stuff I liked most I did not.  So in the spirit of things, I tried it and happened to like beer, cigarettes and Brussell Sprouts.  Go figure, I drink, smoke, and eat some vegetables, and red meat, and butter, and bacon. As a side note and tip, any Vegetable wrapped in bacon and then fried in butter is good.

I'm bored:  I was encouraged to go out and find new friends.  A valuable life lesson.  So I like to go out and get some fresh air.  It's better than sitting on the couch all day.

Don't be afraid to try something new:  I make it a point to try every bar in the city.

Its better to give than receive:  This lesson is taught by all, but forgotten.  So I try to ease the burden and go ahead and take.  I know it was on your ever growing to-do list, so scratch it off, I helped you out.

The Golden Rule:  That's what I was doing with that other woman, why are you so mad Honey?????????  It's the Golden Rule.

Good stuff CHad, although I still can't do the Brussel Sprouts. I did get try cigars late in life and I am still stuck on that one too...

Although I wouldn't consider myself a "quitter" - I have found the power of "empass."

Sometimes there is the realization that the course we are on isn't a good one, and it's time to cut your losses and look for a better opportunity.  I'm not neccessarily a "stay the course" type of gal.  especially if my ship is about to hit the lighthouse.

The most valuable lesson I've learned is that we shouldn't allow our life plans to get in the way of destiny.

. . .and, there are far fewer mistakes in life than we think - but there are far more lessons than we can imagine!

Chad, Do us all a favor and don't quit. Keep smoking and drinking and carousing. That way you won't have to worry about the rest of the world soon.

John- Don't worry I still smoke at my leisure and drink my beer.  Carousing has been limited with the kids and all.  Thats cool though.  I still thank you for looking up my past blogs even though we do not agree.  Life is good, I tip a beer to you and say cheers!

Jason-  Jason I love the way you roll.  I'll be looking for an excuse to head to PA and take you out!

Myrl-  I agree with you; You gotta know when to cut yoour losses and move on.
