Watch Out Vegas!

Casinos in Western New York

There are currently two casinos that call Western New York home. The Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel in Salamanca situated in the foothills of the Allegany Mountains. In Niagara Falls on the American side of the Falls there is Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel just blocks from one of the Natural Wonders of the World. And on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls there are two Casinos on the Canadian Side of the Falls.

Who needs to go to Vegas or Atlantic City when we have all this here?  There is a lot of excitement about the Casinos in Western New York.

Here is a brief run down of the Casinos that are easy access to Western New Yorkers:

Casinos casinos casinos everywere. Use to be that you had to go to Las Vegas or Atlantic City to gamble (or sometimes Reno), but today just about every state has casinos. Even with all of this, you can't match the "atmosphere" that Las Vegas has with their casinos. I'm not a gambler but I love to Visit Vegas.

The beautiful thing is that we were once threatened by all these casinos popping up but it gives more people a lust to visit this city!  Like Sean mentioned, it is the ambiance or atmosphere that drives people here.  It isn't all about the gaming but strolling down the strip, dining in a world class restaurant or partying in a famous nightclub ~ between hitting the slots and the table games!

Sean, there are a lot of people who like to gamble yet do not like all the glitz and glamour of Vegas.  They also don't like to travel very far.  To have it in your backyard is nice.

Renee, true, but as time evolves, they are getting the world-class restaurants and nightclubs.  There is some entertainment starting to show up at the Casinos.  There are big plans for the area, it is all very exciting.
