Special offer

Perhaps its a bit much!

I may have just broken the proverbial straw. Me thinks I may have overextended myself! I am busier than ever right now with Real Estate. We have offers flying all around and more out of state buyers coming next month. Wow, is this really a good time to take on something new?

Sure! Why not? In the midst of a buying and selling frenzy, I have decided to take on my first ever community play. I will be rehearsing 3 days a week for the next 6 weeks or so. I have to learn a bunch of lines and figure out how to sing, dance, and act. Am I overextended? Sure, but why not?

I think this could either be the most fun or my worst nightmare ever. But if we just do those things that we always do, isn't that the way to fall into a rut? My wife thinks I am crazy, but I am just feeding my creative side. So, during the day I will be selling Real estate and during the evenings I will be attempting to break a leg. Wish me luck, I think I will need it!

Peter - I think it's fantastic!! We often perform best when our "plates are full". This might be just the distraction you need from a profession that can easily consume us 24/7! Break a leg!!

I think you'll find it makes you more productive in your business hours. And you'll meet a whole new group of people which in our profession is the key to growing our business. Have fun with it, and look at the time spent as a new achievement...and personal development in a new area.

You will need this small amout of time diversion now more than ever. I rent a ware house to our local theatre group for building props. Even more doctor is in it, i'm glad I missed the play where he was the under taker.

Peter, it sounds to me like a ton of fun!  Plus, you do have to have some diversion in life.  Actually, I think it's a brilliant marketing method... I can see it now... people will call you and say "aren't you the guy I saw on stage"?  Have fun!
