I had a recent opportunity over the past weekend to show property at the gorgeous Madison Club in La Quinta, CA. Wow! There is luxury and then there is The Madison Club. First off the location is stellar for privacy and exclusivity, but not so far away from the shopping and restaurants. The entrance is across from the Eldorado Polo club off of 52nd avenue. The entrance alone is startling in it's beauty.
Drive up a winding driveway, past the Sales Office, where a lovely guard gate complete with burning fireplace welcomes you. Once inside, leave the desrt behind for a couple hundred acres of rolling, elevated greens and lush landscape complimented by lakes and water features. It is really something to see.
The Madison Club is being built out by The Discovery Land development group. They are known for exquisite details and efficient management and this club is no exception. 325 memberships total, one private course, 130 members so far. Home sites range from approx. $800,000 - approx. 2 mil. Villas (approx. 3,000 sf), sell for approx. 3 mil with only 3 remaining. Custom homes begin at approx. $4.5 mil and range to approx. 8 mil with several available to show.
What sets the Madison apart are the amenities. The clubhouse/theatre/spa/pools/workout areas are luxurious to be sure. The spa has full time services of all ranges. The on site restaurant is spectacular and the Sushi chef is stellar..some of the best sushi in the Valley!
Then we get to the "comfort stations" arranged at various holes on the course itself. Wow! Two have grills so you can order a quick grilled chicken taco or sandwich, or steak too. We visited the Madison Market. The Market features a huge variety of nuts and dried fruits, fresh fruits and fruit cups, pastries, sandwiches and of course cold drinks/beer or wine. And best? FREE! It's included in your HOA's for your friends, family as well..not too shabby!
Golf Membership is approx. $200,000 with monthly fees of approx. $2,000. HOA's are approx. $1000/mo.
Members are people that demand privacy and nobody is naming names..The Madison Club equals La Quinta Golf course luxury!
