Need room for the dogs to run? You don’t want neighbors right next door? There are several options and still be close to town.

There are options for acreage just outside the Denver metro area where a buyer could find an acre or more with a home for a reasonable price.

Douglas county offers many properties with more than one acre of land with a home -
$0-$400,000 - 118 properties

  14 bank foreclosures
$401,000+ - 374 properties
  26 short sales
  9 bank foreclosures
These properties are located in Castle Rock, Elizabeth (Elbert County), Franktown, Kiowa, Larkspur, Parker and Sedalia.

In Adams and Arapahoe counties there are options for one acre of land or more with a home -
$0-$400,000 - 92 properties
  13 short sales
  7 bank foreclosures
$401,000+ - 160 properties
  4 short sales

3 bank foreclosures

These properties are available in Aurora, Bennett, Brighton, Byers, Centennial, Commerce City, Hudson, Strasburg and Watkins.
