ABOUT
Pearland Parks & Recreation is gearing up for the 18th Annual Paws in the Park, benefiting the Pearland Animal Adoption center. We will kick things off on Saturday morning with the HEB Plus! Pet and Owner Fun Run followed by the national Dock Diving competition. Dock Diving for dogs is fast becoming one of America’s most popular outdoor events! Proud pet owners travel to these events from all over the country to compete. It’s an incredible new sport that everyone loves!
The mission of Pearland Animal Control and Adoption Center is to ensure the well-being of both animals and residents of our community by delivering high quality, responsive and cost effective animal control services. For this reason, we will be accepting donations at the Information Gazebo at Paws in the Park of pet items that Animal Control can use to help protect the animals they care for. Acceptable items include: pet food, pet toys, bedding and blankets, treats, collars & leashes, crates & carriers, grooming supplies, or monetary donations.
