On most Listings Appointments I bring up the Absorption Rate of Wake Forest NC and I am more often than not met with a glazed over look like I am talking jibberish. Regardless of where you live in the country and Absorption Rate is important! Here is an excerpt from a post I wrote on this very subject:
"An Absorption Rate quite simply is the supply of homes that are on the market. For instance, if there is an Absorption Rate of 8 is would mean that should NO other homes be listed it would take 8 months for the currently listed homes to sell or to be "absorbed" back into the market."
