Home buying is a process!

We’re going to review some of the common mistakes that first-time buyers make, and we’re going to show you how they can ruin your opportunity to buy your first home. How to avoid those types of blunders? You'll find out in our HousePro Academy online course, Home Buying 101.

MISTAKE #6:  Not understanding that home buying is a process

A sixth common mistake is when buyers do not understand the process.  Buying a home is a 3-month process, or even longer if you’re buying a distressed property such as a short sale or bank owned home.  Here in our course we’re showing you how to go through all the steps, one by one, because we realize it’s quite lengthy.  Some home buyers get bored and they don’t follow through, or they get overwhelmed and don’t take action.  Buying a home is not difficult or complex, but again, it is a process.  It doesn’t happen instantly.  You’ve got to be patient and willing to follow the process diligently by doing each step.  Don’t get frazzled by the process and remember that your Realtor® will always be by your side to help answer any questions and negotiate on your behalf.

Here's other common mistakes that you DON'T want to make:

Stay tuned for our 7-part series!

I have gone back through and read your previous posts.  You are so right - a BUYER needs representation - someone to help them understand the process!
