It's Beginning To Feel A Lot Like Christmas (FINALLY!)

For those of you who live in parts of the country where it is already cold and snowy, I apologize in advance for this post.

I do miss the full four seasons of NJ, where I grew up.  Fall was one of my favorites, and winter wasn't a big snow drift, just enough to have to shovel.

However, I have lived in Jacksonville, FL for the past 17 years, and now find myself reaching for a sweater or a jacket when the temp approaches 70 F.  I'm spoiled rotten, I admit it!

This morning, the temp at the beaches was about 35 F - so I'm finally getting in the holiday spirit!  It's tough, believe it or not, to get into the mood when it's warm enough for t-shirts and shorts.

Happy Holiday Season to All Active Rainers!

And Happy Wishes back to you. I can relate a lot to what you say...our Tucson weather spoils us! I think I'd be happy to see one snow each year, and then I prefer the sunshine!!!!

Carol and Joeann,

COME TO MINNESOTA FOR A VISIT!  The high temperature today is going to be 31 and we are all ecstatic!  When I dropped my girls off at school this morning, I saw a few people in just heavy sweatshirts.  Us "snowbirds" are thinking, "What a nice day and a break from the sub-zero temps that we have had all month!"

In fact, my family is even grilling tonight. :)

Too funny...if it was 70 degrees here, we would all be in our swimming suits!

Happy Holidays!

Sherri & Patricia,

I do miss the snow this time of year,  would be lovely if we could have it when we want it, but not everyone down here can DRIVE on snow!  Happy Holidays to both of you!

Carol -

I'm opposite, I think. I don't need really cold weather to feel festive! I grew up just north of Tampa and I now live in San Diego. Can you tell I don't really do cold?? LOL

I've found that, for me, snow is much better in theory. I think snowflakes are the prettiest from inside a hot tub! :-)

I hope you have a wonderful holiday season!!
