Looking for something different to do this weekend? What about creating your own one-of-a-kind artwork on the historic sidewalks just north of Downtown Los Angeles. The Chinese American Museum will be holding Chalk Art on Saturday, March 31, 2012 in the historic El Pueblo Plaza where participants(all ages) will create with chalk their vision of the buildings of Los Angeles. The weather is expected to cooperate and this event which has been described as friendly to both children and adults of all ages will be held in specially designated areas within the historic plaza.
And it's FREE at the Chinese American Musuem. No reservations required and chalk will be provided. The Chinese American Musuem is located at El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument across from Union Station. Follow the hanging lanterns south of Olvera Street and find the museum:
