Let me introduce you to Fulton, TX.
Fulton, TX shares the Live Oak peninsula with Rockport, TX in Aransas County. Often overlooked in the shadow of the larger town of Rockport, Fulton has it’s own unique character and charm. A recent renovation and drainage project created concrete streets, a large new central parking lot, street lights and refurbished storefronts.
Fulton is famous for its harbor, pier, and community center, Paws and Taws, which hosts many local events and activities. Fulton boasts restaurants, hotels, birding tours, bait stands and retail shops which draw tourists and locals.
Real estate in Fulton is an eclectic mixture of waterfront homes on Fulton Beach Rd. that overlook Aransas Bay, family homes, new construction, condominiums, vacation rentals, and cottages. There’s something for everyone.
Locals and visitors look forward to the first week-end in March for the annual Oysterfest Celebration. Sponsored by the Fulton Volunteer Fire Dept., the festival hosts food and retail booths plus a carnival. Oysters harvested from the local bays are the stars of the event. Cooked anyway you want, or eaten raw, they’re FRESH and DELICIOUS.
