What is a fish out?

Well, that is easy.  It is when you fill one of Lake Ridge's 5 community pools (Ridgewood) with 750 rainbow trout and then you go fishing!

Starting on March 30th at noon, you can go fishing.  The fish out will run from March 30 to April 7th.  The hours are from 8am to 7:30pm.

The cost is $7 for everyone over 3 years of age.  There is a 2 fish limit per individual.

You can bring your own tackle or can rent cane poles at the pool for $1.00 each.  Fish will bite on corn, cheese, mini marshmallows, work and lures.  Bait cup will be available for fifty cents at the fishing hole.

If you want to volunteer to help with the Fish out, please call Shirley at 703-491-2154.  Those who volunteer will be given passes to fish for free.

Non-profit groups may operate a concession stand as a fundraiser to sell chips, drinks, etc.

For more information, please contract Lake Ridge Recreation Dept. at 703-491-2154.

Happy Fishing!!
