Take a Walk in the Park in Murphy NC Don't miss out on "Take a Walk in the Park Day." Even though it's always officially on March 30, it's always an opportunity for a little exercise and relaxation. Are you stressed out? A walk in the park, in the woods or along the lake, is just what the doctor ordered as it's calming and therapeutic.

And if you're in Murphy, NC you can always join us downtown at River Walk along the Hiwassee River for a walk. It's a great way to spend your lunch break or even after a busy work day, since walking can help clear your mind and re-energize you too! What better way to celebrate the day and any excuse is a good one to get outside and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and outdoor activities here in Cherokee County, NC. Our spring weather has been perfect and everything is green and blooming.

Thanks Alexandra. This path around the park in downtown Murphy is so wonderful. All along the river on one side and then past the tennis courts, pool, park and baseball fields.
