Friday's Foto - The Intrepid Explorer!
It pouring AGAIN here today, which only encouraged me to share another in my series of summer - warm - photos. This is our youngest son, Ben, getting ready to snorkel on the island of Kauai. Both our kids started snorkeling very young and we all love the dazzling variety of ocean life we see off Kauai. This is the very beach off which I once had a close encounter with a giant sea turtle.
Well Kauai is getting their share of rain this spring too. Nice picture and it makes me want to go to the beach!
Gretchen, Hawaii has some of the most amazing beaches in the world. I was there a couple of years ago over Christmas, and it was so warm! It was the year we had snowmageddon in DC.
Thanks for the picture. Reminds me that in less than 60 days my family will be in Destin, Fl for the week!
I'm a mountian girl, but this photo even makes me want to go to the beach. I think maybe I am just thinking of the beach as a nice relaxing day :-) -Kasey
