Murphy TX Water Restrictions Ease
Homeowners in Murphy TX will be happy to learn that the water restrictions imposed by Stage 3 Restricitons are going to be eased a bit. The recent rains received in North Texas has elevated our local lakes namely Lake Lavon and Lake Ray Hubbard to levels at or above their normal range. Although Stage 3 Restrictions still do apply a once a week watering will be allowed for homeowners effective in April 2012.
- Homeowners whose address ends in an odd number (1.3.5.7.9) may water on Mondays only.
- Homeowners whose address ends in an even number (2.4.6.8.0) may water on Wednesdays only.
All watering is prohibited between 10 am and 6 pm. Even though the restriction has been eased to accommodate for weekly watering the wasting of water should not occur. Every resident should do their part to help conserve water.
