Settlement took place today on this Victorian charmer in Woodstown, NJ. I imagine one of the reasons the buyers were attracted to the home was the wrap-a-round porch with it's panoramic views of Main Street.
I'm sure the new owners will LOVE the 4th of July parade as it winds it's way right past their home.
(I know I would, wouldn't you?)

The closing was an interesting experience in that the mortgage company didn't seem to believe that a scheduled closing should take place on time. In fact, we finally began the settlement four-and-a-half hours late. Thankfully, everyone was able to juggle their appointments in order to accomodate the delays. Most importantly we did close today. Yes, it is a blessing to close no matter what time of day it takes place!
Please join me in wishing the Seller well in her new journey. It was heart-warming to hear her speak of what a "good house" she is leaving on Main Street.
The Buyers bring a fresh excitement to the home. Time will now record them as the next 'stewards' for this historic beauty.
The Buyer's Realtor, Scott Sweeney, was a pleasure to work with over the past month and a half. I never take the cooperating agent for granted. It truly takes a team effort to get to the final settlement. Scott made it almost seem easy. I guess it's my turn to venture up to Haddonfield to sell one of his listings now. (I would sure love to do that!)
What a terrific way to begin a new week....and a new month.
