North Idahoans are at it again! In the city of Post Falls, Idaho in the first quarter of 2012 over 50 New Businesses were licensed, this is both home businesses and commercial. The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well here in North Idaho. Home sales are up this year, over last year.
Spring is coming. Life is good in North Idaho! City of Post Falls Urban Forestry Division is in the midst of preparation for the big tree giveaway program as they celebrate Arbor Day. The program has been in place for the last 8 years giving away anywhere from 3000 to 3600 trees a year; with a retail value of about 2.8 million dollars that has been given to our community.
This year the date is Saturday April 14th from 9am to 2pm at Q’Emiln Park just off Spokane Street, south of the river. Watch for more information next week and I should be able to tell you the varieties of trees.
