Chicago Real Estate Market - It's Local

By
Real Estate Agent

As most people are seeing here in Chicago's For Sale Signs are going up and going under contract a lot faster then in the past three to four years.

Yes.  Chicago's Real Estate Market is changing.  Whew!

What most do not understand is that the pricing will not increase basically due to the large supply of homes for sale and that nearly over a million distressed homes will hit the real estate market across this country this year.  While prices and multiple offers are being seen in Arizona, doesn't mean that is will be happening in Chicago anytime soon.

Demand will be increasing dramatically this year, and we are witness to that here in Chicago.  However, selling prices will remain and tend to stay flat or drop just a tad in some areas here in Chicago.

But it does being with curb appeal.  You need to draw the buyers in to win them over.

So, the best part is that carrying costs are not going to be so long for those who are serious about attracting that new buyer for their home.
