It was a beautiful day yesterday here in Central Texas. The bluebonnets are in bloom everywhere. I couldn't resist taking this picture of our Search and Rescue Dog, Stryker. She was a good girl and sat while I snapped away trying to capture the beauty around her. This picture was taken on Old Route 2243 across from HEB.
Love the dog and Love the Bluebonnets.....they are beautiful here in the Houston area too.
Carol,
What a great picture and I agree with Paula. Blue bonnets always make me think of Texas, I am assuming it is the Texas flower---or is the yellow rose of Texas? Happy Tuesday, A
Paula:
Thanks from both Stryker and myself. This is usually the most wonderful time here in Texas.
Alexandra:
Blue Bonnets are the state flower and this is the time to see them. They are everywhere. They blanket acres and acres of fields. Cars stop on the highways for families to take pictures of their kids and the blue bonnets!
You have a beautiful dog. Thanks for your comments on my post.I love the picture.
Bluebonnets are one of my fondest memories from a trip across the great state of Texas many years ago. Thanks to you and Stryker for sharing.
