Annie's Angels BIG East Coast Adventure
Bill DaGiau wants to raise $100,000 for Annie's Angels families and here is how he plans to do it:
Well, its simple, really. On May 26th, Bill gets on a bicycle in Daytona Beach, Florida and rides back home to Stratham, New Hampshire, a 1700 mile trip that will take approximately 3 grueling weeks to complete, all while swatting bugs and wondering when the next men's room will come along. Sounds easy enough...right?
Now, here's the hard part. Bill has to inspire people, LOTS of people, to sponsor this trip by the mile so Annie's Angels can give families hope in their financial and emotional struggles with life-threatening disease. This is where you come in.
Annie's Angels, sponsors of The Heavenly Ball Fundraiser, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for Seacoast NH families that cope with cancer, muscular dystrophy, AIDS and other diseases and disabilities.
Annie's Angels Memorial Fund Inc. was founded by Bill and Diane DaGiau in 2007. Their early fundraising events were based on bicycle marathons in which Bill actively participated all over the Northeast, such as AIDS Bike Rides, The Pan Mass Challenge, and the Trans NH Ride Against Muscular Dystrophy.
Now they have expanded their fundraising efforts in Seacoast NH to include fashion shows, restaurant events and The Heavenly Ball to raise funds for the NH Muscular Dystrophy Association, AIDS charities, Lion's Club Charities, the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and others.
