Shhhhh....Searcy Sleuths.....keep it quiet and I'll let you in on a little secret....

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Advantage

Wonder what your neighbor sold his house for?

Wonder what your house is assessed for?

Wonder what the history of a house is?

Wonder if your friend's house is still standing after all those years that you have been away from Searcy?

For the past several years I have been paying good money to get this information from the county records.  I'd go online and pay 10 cents a minute for the time I spent there. The information is crucial for real estate agents and the info was worth every cent.  If I want to do extensive searching I still have to pay that.

You can dab at those records now for free!

Go to and check the free area at the web site and find out all kinds of interesting things!

Don, the snooping is fun. Wonder if that is what Anita is doing right now and she hasn't had time to comment??  LOL

Anita has been spring house cleaning BIG time for such trivial matters as murals and assessment records.  But for the record, and you knew I couldn't keep quiet, Barbara:  I don't care for the first murals, think the last two are "o.k.".  If it were up to me, there would be a big, bright Coca Cola sign:  adversiting a coke for a nickle...."the pause that refreshes"....

I was going to say I think Anita fell into a batch of bread dough. There's a rumor she's going to open Anita's Bread Shoppe soon.  I hear on the grapevine that a bottle of beer is going into the bread batter today. Stand back!

But Anita, a coke sign would be for the whole country, not just our little home town.  Those images are supposed to be unique to Searcy and White County.  And I thought for sure that you'd be at the county data site checking out addresses.

Don, I have a bottle of bread batter that is called "beer bread" that was given to us a few Christmases ago and my hubby said he'd rather look at it than eat it.  You know what we could do at her Bread Shoppe?  We could all gather around and gossip and tell stories like the people did a long time ago at their favorite hang-outs.
