After the Dallas Frisco TX storms

Real Estate Broker/Owner with 3:16 team REALTY ~ Locally-owned Frisco TX Real Estate Co. #9001154

It’s a beautiful day here in Frisco TX. The thunder storms and tornadoes that hit Arlington (40 miles southwest of Frisco) and Forney (45 miles southeast of Frisco) on April 3rd 2012 are behind us.

It was a disastrous Tuesday afternoon. Tornado sirens were going off for over an hour here in Frisco TX. Many residents seek cover as they keep an eye out for the path of the storm and tornadoes.

Now that it is behind us, and the news media are sharing videos of the disaster. Homes torn apart, vehicles flying in the sky, and stories about how families were protecting each other in bathrooms and closets.

It is such good news that we did not have any fatalities in the storms and tornadoes. Thank God!!! He is indeed good.

I agree, Loreena, what a difference a day makes. Calm again after the storms but much damage for a lot of folks. The no deaths was a huge blessing. Some God, some luck, and hopefully everyone paying attention to the sirens and warnings on TV and radio.

I happened to be at home watching the weather channel as the tornado was on the ground. The guys in the helicopter really has some confidence to film it.

Loreena, I saw coverage on the news last night.  18-Wheeler's flying in the sky like a Frisbee. In all the devastation it is a miracle more we not injured or killed.  One nursing home had an entire wing destroyed ... yet no one was hurt.

I saw those tractor trailers being thrown around and it was really out of a disaster movie.  I'm sure the weather can really turn around quickly after that happens.

It is quite blue out, isnt it. You have to love this crazy Texas weather... although I can still do without the Summer heat.

Hi Loreena:

Yes, it was quite an experience indeed!  Devastating to see all the destruction left behind ... but as you say, thankfully no lives were lost!
