Best round ever.....
Last week I had my boys, and of course they were on Spring Break. So I spent a lot of time working from home...(that is the ultimate oxymoron) :)
Had meetings, closings and of course follow up with customers and referral partners. The weather was so nice and I had the itch to get out and play some golf while I was enjoying my boys.
Best round ever.....
I did have a chance to get out about three weeks ago and played pretty well for the fist time out. Shot an 81...Not bad. So, as I spent the week hanging out with Trey and Evan, we were doing all kinds of fun things.
I really wanted to do something fun with them before they went back to school. Over the last two years they have been asking me to get out and play golf with them. With all of the events in my life in the last two years, I didn't really have the mind set to get out with them.
Best round ever.......
Knowing the trials and tribulations of having a 10 and 6 year old out on the course. Holding up others, slow pace, them kind of wandering. All of the fun things that young boys do! I decided on the last day of their spring break on Friday, I took them out. What a blast.
Got to spend some real quality time with the most important people in my life. I didn't care about work, didn't care about my score, didn't care about some to the trivial things that my life presents.
What I did care about was giving Trey and Evan my full attention. I had so much fun. As did my boys.
Then we went home, had pizza and they got to spend time with their friends. Sleep overs and then played out in the sun all weekend.
Ran though the sprinklers and got to enjoy being young boys. As I got to enjoy my time with them.
Not only golf, but my time with Trey and Evan.......
.Best round ever!!!
