When working properties in Equator, most activity will be centered around tasks. Tasks are forms that Servicers need to be completed – generally soliciting information on the property, or documents pertaining to the property. On your “Tasks” page, you can view your tasks that need to be completed, along with the date of assignment and completion date (if applicable). Each task is color coded so you can easily view which tasks are new, nearing their due date, or past due. Agents should always try to complete tasks as soon as possible. These tasks are part of your track record for Servicers, so completing them as promptly as possible demonstrates your professionalism.
You can view any open tasks in your Equator account by locating the Message-Task-Offer dashboard under the menu headers. If it says 0 tasks, you do not have any tasks to complete. If it says # task(s), click on it to view your open tasks.
You may open any task by clicking on the task name. You should also make note of the task color, which indicates the status of your task:
Green: New task, incomplete
Yellow: Task nearing due date, incomplete
Red: Overdue task, incomplete
Grey: Complete
For a completed (grey) task, Due/Completed Date indicates the date you completed the task. For an incomplete (green, yellow, or red) task, the Due/Completed Date indicates the date the task is due.
Once you have completed a task please be sure to select the ‘Save and Submit Now’ button at the bottom of the task to send your information to the Servicer. Agents can always access previously completed tasks by going to the property page and clicking on “Tasks”. This provides you a record of everything you have completed on a particular property, and lets you view when the task was completed.
