Recently the 84th skyway in downtown Minneapolis was officially opened to the public that joins the Ameriprise and Accenture towers. The skyways in downtown Minneapolis connect more than a handful of office buildings—they keep the people that create commerce flowing throughout the city some of which live in condos. The condos that link up to the skyway are an interesting breed of real estate. A few of them are highlighted below:
IVY Hotel and Residences is the premier building connected to the skyway which is home to a local restaurant, Starwood Hotel and luxury condos. Valet parking, Spa make up some of the amenities within the buildings.
Centre Village was the first condo building in downtown Minneapolis that married condo living with skyway access. Built in the early 80s during the downtown boom this building has condos, apartments, a hotel and plenty of parking for everyone.
Six Quebec is a conversion of an old office mid rise tower in the city to a luxury urban mixed use building complete with a bank, some commercial tenants and 38 lofts that continue to do well in resale values.
