Red Rocks Easter Sunrise Service 2012.
Wow that is all I can say to this.
I have lived here in CO for over 16years and I think I have talked about doing the sunrise Easter Celebration at world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater all 16years. For one reason or another there was always something, over slept, bad weather etc. I am pleased to announce that dry run is now OVER as we had picture perfect weather and the person giving the message was non other than Denver's own Mayor, Michael Hancock!
A perfect 40 degrees at time of the service and in a setting designed by God it was truly inspirational and a sight to behold.
I took one quick pic to show the magnitude of the service that had over 20,000 and was the largest ever in its 65year history.
While the drive itself to get there was not bad getting through the mass traffic to actually enter the park and find parking was somewhat of a time killer. However in the end we made it in, got there in time for the music and the message and can finally say "we have been to Red Rocks for Easter Sunrise Service".
I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone fortunate enough to live close or may be in town for a visit or just something truly special and memorable to celebrate the rising of our Lord, Jesus!
Anyway Peace and Blessings to all this Easter and even if you have not already accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior there is time and his arms are open and ready. It will change your life for the better and bring you a sense of fulfillment and peace you cannot have without him as that part of your life. Not to mention change your destination for eternity!
Happy Easter 2012
